Save Giraffes Now recently had the immense pleasure of visiting the Kansas City Zoo and Aquarium for “A Talk on the Wild Side: Save Giraffes.” This event also provided an opportunity for Aggrey Chemwa, Director of East Africa Operations, to visit the US for the first time!

We have partnered with the zoo since 2024, when zookeeper Jacob Stack visited Kenya to work with Aggrey on research in the Athi-Kapiti Landscape. We are proud of this continued partnership and look forward to sharing future accomplishments with the Kansas City Zoo and community.
Photos: Aggrey, Susan, and Kayla were invited to speak at the Kansas City Zoo and Aquarium about the urgent need to protect wild giraffe and our joint work in Kenya.Â
In addition to his trip to Kansas City, Aggrey is visiting other partners around the US, sharing the story of giraffe far and wide. We are thrilled for this opportunity to have Aggrey here and are grateful to our partners and supporters for the warm welcome!

Sincerely,
