Dear Giraffe Friends,

We are excited to announce that the rescue of nine giraffe off the island in Kenya by Save Giraffes Now is featured in National Geographic!

Even more exciting is the fact that all nine giraffe made it safely to their new home on the mainland and are all together again.  In addition to being safe, each is rapidly gaining weight due to the abundance of food sources!

From when the first few giraffes were rescued in early December until today, this story has garnered world-wide attention.  Please see the links below for just a few of the latest articles (great photos and videos) that describe the final rescue.

This publicity is critical to saving giraffe because, as you know, very few people are even aware that they are in danger of extinction.  Also, we thank you in advance for spreading the word about their plight.  Please feel free to share this email with any friends or family that you think might be interested in joining with you to save these beautiful animals.

While we have been working on saving these giraffe in Kenya, we have expanded our efforts and we are now working on 20 projects across nine countries in Africa.  We really need your financial support to move forward on those projects as we continue our fight to save giraffes from their silent extinction.

With your help, together we will succeed!
